Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I posted and I apologize for that but sometimes life gets in the way.

I hope to be able to get some great music stuff on here for you in the coming days and weeks and if you would like to follow along that would be great!

I have another link that I have gotten back into called My Romance With Food and you can find it here on FB or with this blog page,

Stay tuned and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

God Bless

Well, it has been a long time since I posted on my blog but felt I needed to share what has happened since Nov 2012; I have begun my singing again. I have a fantastic bunch of musicians that are all becoming good friends and we are playing and making a little change and beginning to get some notice.

It is called the Leda Ray Band, imagine that?

I am doing well after my accident in 2011 but still have a few issues that I work on every day.

My family is still there for me and for that I am grateful.

I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people that I have met in my singing places and so many have become good friends.

The Formal Beginning of the Music

When I was 23 years of age, I moved to Virginia Beach with my husband and my two young children, Tim, aged 6 and Tammy, aged 2 months. We opened a service station for Malbon Oil Company which used PURE oil products. We lived in a small apartment for about 6 months and were then able to purchase a nice home and some furniture. I stayed home and took care of the house and the children like I was taught to do until one day when I saw an ad for a record company looking for a girl singer but like the woman I was taught to be, I discussed it with my husband and he was thrilled that someone would get to hear me (at least that was his comment at the time).

I set up the appointment with the lady that owned the record company, her name  was Ouida and her last name was: (I will save that until later). She had a man there named Pete Harris and he was the leader of a group called the Westernaires. I auditioned with them while Pete played accoustic guitar, the 2 songs were "Silver Threads and Golden Needles" and "Make the World Go Away"; I was hired not only for the record company but by Pete to sing with the band now and then and needless to say I was ecstatic! I went home and told my husband and he said that was great.
